By engaging EKL Accountants ("EKL", "we", "us") for any Bookkeeping, Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, Company Registration, BEE Certification, Business Consulting, or related service, or by using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
2. Our Services
EKL Accountants provides Financial, Taxation, and related services to individuals, private companies, non-profit organisations, and schools across South Africa. The exact scope of each engagement will be confirmed in writing (by email, letter of engagement, or signed proposal) before work begins.
3. Client Responsibilities
- You agree to provide accurate, complete, and timely information and documentation required for us to perform the agreed services.
- You remain responsible for the accuracy of information supplied to us, and for any statutory submissions made in your name based on that information.
- Delays in providing requested information may affect our ability to meet statutory deadlines (e.g. SARS or CIPC filing dates).
4. Fees & Payment
Fees are quoted per engagement and communicated before work begins. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are payable within the terms stated on the invoice. We reserve the right to suspend services for accounts in arrears.
5. Confidentiality
We treat all client information as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties except where required by law, requested by a regulatory authority (such as SARS or CIPC), or with your consent.
6. Professional Standards & Limitation of Liability
Our services are performed with due care in line with applicable professional and regulatory standards. To the extent permitted by law, EKL Accountants' liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for losses arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client.

All content on this website — including text, graphics, and the EKL Accountants name and logo — is the property of EKL Accountants and may not be reproduced without permission.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement with reasonable written notice. Fees for work completed up to the date of termination remain payable.
